Spring 2011

Well, I haven't been doing a very good job at all keeping this thing updated! We have had A LOT happen in the last 5 months! At the end of March, Matt decided to dislocate his ankle in two different places. He has been in a wheelchair since March 26th and we don't know when he will be able to get a walking cast! We closed on a house on Matt's birthday: May 24th. It is a foreclosure house that needs some work; but gives us a ton more space. We started looking at this house before Matt hurt himself and talked about all the things we could do to fix it up and make it nice. Now, we have plans and Matt can't do much :( For me, it is more work and stress.... but we will get there! And we will finallly have a home that maybe we can stay in for a while!
 Noah is starting to crawl! Finally! He has never liked to be on his stomach. Hated tummy time, but was forced to do it for at least a few minutes. He has already been pulling up on things and walking while holding our hands. We thought he was going to skip the crawling step and go straight to walking, but now he can do it in the right order!!

Christmas

We celebrated Noah's first Christmas! We started at Grandma Minnie's house and headed over to Matt's dads house all on Christmas Eve! We went to Matt's moms house and opened gifts that same night. We stayed the night there and woke up on Christmas to let Noah open his Santa presents with his cousin Tuli. Noah got a little cranky with all the excitement! This year with opening presents didn't go so great. He plays with his gifts, but he didn't enjoy opening them! Hopefully next year he will have more fun!!
